Yes, a lady in New Mexico in 1978 told me about Palmolive dish soap. We were a young Air Force couple and needed to know something cheap to help us with the fleas. They were running us over in the yard with all that sandy soil and dryness as well as in the house. Our poor adult Min. Schnauzers and their new litter were infested. I used it in my yard with one of those sprayers like the one Miracle Grow sells. It worked great in the yard, great on my adult Min. Schnauzers and their new litter, with no side effects. I did get some bubbles in the yard when it finally rained.

Funny after all these years I am on the net looking for a miracle flea product as my expensive ones don't seem to be working well the past couple of years. Now I have a different breed of dogs live where it is moist and humid. However being on the Gulf Coast I still have the sandy soil and once again seem to be having a flea problem big time. I think once again I will turn to Palmolive, it worked excellant before.

I see a whole lot of sites discussing Palmolive as well as Dawn, that tells me that what I was told and what I used as a last resort in 1978 must indeed have merit. It is certainly not an expensive method to use and I know it worked plus smelled great, so what's there to lose except the fleas in the grass and sandy soil and on my dogs.

To eliminate fleas on your pets, you must search for shampoos and powders for dogs and cats. There are a lot of flea busters available in the market. Also, you have to keep in mind that after appying this product, you have to keep your environment kill in order to totally get rid of them.

There are a lot of costly products out there but my point is you are actually drowning the fleas and anything will help to do that. At least that is what I was told. Of course, dogs or cats can also have allergies to the products you use. That happened one time to me when I was washing my Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. Her fur is so thick that I always used cream rinse on her after bathing her with baby shampoo. I ran out of the Suave cream rinse and used some that I had gotten from a hotel recently. She started chewing her fur off around her tail and under her belly. I suppose I didn't rinse it off well enough. I put her back into the tub and rinsed her over and over again. Needless to say, I never did that again.
